AAVE borrow and repay

Borrow

  1. Navigate DeFi section in Top menu of https://my.bequant.pro

  2. In section bottom navigation select Protocols tab

  3. In AAVE click "More action" and select Borrow from a drop-down menu

  4. AAVE borrow window will appear

  5. Form description:

    1. "Borrow Currency" field will preload all possible currency that could be borrowed with AAVE protocol (not all ERC-20 tokens can be borrowed)

    2. "Borrow Amount" filed will provide ability to specify borrow amount or Max available amount of currency

    3. Transaction overview:

      1. Variable APY. (Borrow) Effective rate at which you borrow assets. This rate could vary depend on market condition.

      2. Stable APY. (Borrow) Effective rate at which you borrow assets. This rate will be fixed and will not change in future.

      3. Health factor. It is indicator of all clients positions. It reflects all deposits and borrowings. HF works similar to an LTV-like indicator. If it value drops bellow 1 the positions of client will be liquidated.

  6. To borrow 5 ZRX. Please make

  7. Select ZRX as "Deposit currency"

  8. Full "Borrow amount" with 20 value

  9. Select "Variable"

  10. Control HF changes and don't make in smaller than 1. or become red.

  11. Change "Borrow amount" to 5.

  12. If allowance for selected token in place (it refers to case with borrowing ETH only), you will see active "Borrow" button.

  13. Click "Borrow" button

  14. Confirmation message will appear

  15. Navigate to "Transactions" tab to track execution of Deposit transaction

  16. Navigate to "Balances" tab to see balances changes.

  17. To check your deposits click AAVE - Borrowing section

    Repay

    1. Navigate DeFi section in Top menu of https://my.bequant.pro

    2. In section bottom navigation select Protocols tab

    3. In AAVE click "More action" and select Repay from a drop-down menu

    4. AAVE repay modal will appear

    5. In case you want to repay all amount you must select Max. Otherwise provide value to a "Repay Amount" field.

    1. Note about Max option. Due to percent calculated continuously it is almost impossible to repay full amount via manual providing of a value.

      6. Click "Repay"

      7. Track transaction execution via a "Transactions" tab.

      8. Track Balances changes via a "Balances" tab.
