Dear Trader,

BEQUANT aims to bring its clients the most modern, secure and trusted trading experience. In order to do this, BEQUANT obtained in 2021 a VFA Class 4 license in Malta to operate its exchange, and a VFA Class 3 license in Malta to operate its Prime Brokerage business. By doing so, Bequant became one of the first licensed exchanges and brokers in Europe. Operating under the supervision of the respected Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA) and abiding by the applicable rules means that we are committed to being transparent when communicating and doing business with our clients. In order to further continue providing the same level of transparency, trust and service, BEQUANT has made the decision to streamline its product line to focus even more on building the services that you demand faster and better. Therefore, as part of this re-focused strategy, we will be relinquishing our BEQUANT Exchange Limited’s license in Malta and going forward will be operating all our regulated services from Bequant Pro Limited, our licensed brokerage business in Malta.

Ok, but how does that affect me?

As we will be relinquishing our VFA Class 4 license for the exchange business, we will have to close down the business of BEQUANT Exchange Limited (BEL) in its current form. This means that you will soon need to stop trading with BEL and withdraw your current funds and assets.

How long can I trade? What is the deadline for me to withdraw my funds?

Clients are able to continue utilising all the licensable VFA Services up until July 31, 2022. The deadline for withdrawing your funds and assets is August 8th, 2022. We will no longer provide any trading services after that date.

How do I do it?

Please go to, login onto the website, and perform a withdrawal. For more information please see instructions here.

What happens if I miss the deadline?

If you miss the deadline, please let us know as much in advance as possible. Otherwise, if we don’t hear from you, you will not be able to transact after July, 31 2022. After the said deadline, we will be keeping your funds safe with us, however you will have to contact support to arrange for a separate withdrawal window. What this means is that you will have to undergo an identity verification before the withdrawal can be actioned and this may slow down the process.
