Failed Transfers

Help! My transfer shows as failed?

Updated over a week ago

All transfers are automated at Bequant, however a transfer may occasionally fail. You don't need to worry, as our technical team receive notifications about these incidents automatically and most likely already working on a fix. If the transfer status has not switched to 'In Progress' or 'Completed' after a few minutes, we recommend that you contact the Bequant Pro support team. This can be done via the available support channels and they can check on the cause of the failed transaction and find a solution.

The most common reasons for a failed transfer are listed below.

  • Insufficient funds - A transfer will fail when the transfer amount exceeds the funds currently available on your balance.

  • Large decimal digit number - The majority of exchanges have a limitation of 8 decimal digits for the amount you would like to send (for example 0.12345678 BTC). A transaction will be rejected by system if this limit was exceeded.

  • Temporary maintenance on exchanges - Some of our partner exchanges run planned maintenance work occasionally. We normally inform our client about planned maintenance.

  • Temporary technical issues - There may be unforeseen issues that can arise occasionally. Don't worry, the Bequant support team will be already trying to find and fix the issue. Please don't hesitate to contact us on the status of the transfer.

To check why your transfer didn't go through you would need to go to Transactions page, press on Failed sign to see the cause of the Failed transaction.
